Projects and your first canvas

In Lotzy everything lives in a project. A project is a real folder on your computer, with its own canvas.

    Create a project

    Click + next to PROJECTS on the left and type a name. Lotzy creates a folder with that name in your save folder; everything you generate is saved there.

    Split it into sub-folders

    Right-click a project → New sub-folder. Great for keeping scenes, chapters or tests apart. Each sub-folder has its own canvas; folders can be nested 3 levels deep.

    Drag to reorder or move inside

    Grab a project and drag it. Drop it on the top or bottom edge of another to reorder, on its middle to put it inside, or on the empty part of the list to bring it to the top level.

    Rename or delete

    Double-click or press F2 to rename. Delete gives two choices: Remove from Lotzy only (the folder stays on your computer) or Delete from the computer (it goes to the Recycle Bin, or the Trash on a Mac).
