Lesson 6 · ~3 min

Grab a frame, continue the scene

Make a video’s last frame the start of the next shot, so shots flow into each other.

In this lesson
  1. 1

Save the frame as an image

Right-click a video on the canvas: save the last frame, the first frame, or this frame where you paused it as an image. The last frame is the video’s real final frame.

  2. 2

It lands next to the video

The frame is saved into the project as a full-size PNG and placed right next to the video. Its name tells which video and which moment it came from.

  3. 3

Start the next shot from it

Add the frame as a reference (a single image is used as the first frame) and write the next shot. The video starts exactly where the previous one ended.

  4. 4

    One click in Lotzy Edit

In the edit, right-click a clip → Generate a continuation. Lotzy generates the next shot from its last frame and places it right after the clip.
